Founded in 2020, GLOBALCLOUDHOSTING was born from a conviction: high-performance hosting shouldn't be reserved for large companies.
Five years obsessed with performance
GLOBALCLOUDHOSTING was founded in Paris in March 2020 by three infrastructure engineers tired of providers that overpromise and underdeliver. The first rack was installed in Paris with one simple rule: never oversell a hypervisor, ever.
In 2021, the 1,000-customer mark was passed and a second site opened in Frankfurt. The following year was a turning point: full migration to NVMe Gen4, then 10 Gbps networking deployed in 2023 across all points of presence.
In 2024, we launched our in-house anti-DDoS, capable of absorbing 400+ Gbps. Today, over 12,000 customers in 40 countries run their production on our infrastructure — with the same first-day standards.
Key milestones
Founded in Paris
First rack at the PAR-1 datacenter. The three founders handle support themselves, day and night.
1,000 customers & Frankfurt
The 1,000-customer mark is passed in November. Frankfurt site opens and the fleet goes all-NVMe Gen4.
Amsterdam & London
Two new European sites, a new customer panel and public API v1.
10 Gbps everywhere
10 Gbps generalized across all plans and New York opens, our first site outside Europe.
In-house anti-DDoS
Our proprietary mitigation system goes live (412 Gbps absorbed); Singapore and Tokyo open.
